  In today’s world, leadership training is not considered a luxury anymore. Leadership became of vital importance for the development of humanity. This training program aims at developing the leadership skills of students as part of USAID Scholars Activity Program. The program will tackle various disciplines and topics that will eventually help participants acquire knowledge about different issues and master a range of complementary skills to be able to become change catalysts in their communities.  
    This program is divided in 4 main milestones. These milestones are inspired from USAID Scholars Activity multi-tiered leadership development program. This program consists of three modules that equally focus on equipping students with the needed leadership skills and helping them cultivate a leadership identity . These 4 milestones are:
    • The Emerging Leader
    • The Integrated Leader
    • The Experienced Leader
    • Getting into the real world
    By the end of this module, participants will be able to :
    • Define a paradigm
    • Recognize the process of habit formation
    • Identify the importance of proactivity and how to be proactive

    The Emerging Leader

     We believe that great leaders, who lead from the inside out, can be of enormous impact in their communities. Participants who wish to do so have to lead a healthy and balanced life first. They need to commit to improve their own selves, overcome their self-judgments habits, take responsibility of their life and practice what they preach. During this phase, participants will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that will help them manage their emotions and attitudes, find balance in what they do. They will be exposed to different experiences that will help them work on the areas that need improvement, develop techniques and tools to change behaviors and beliefs that limit their effectiveness.
